Wimbledon Crisis Center Day 14 - Overflow

We're done.  The match scores record a winner and a loser, as they did last year.  Hard to think of anyone losing that match - as someone had to last year.

Let no-one ever talk about either player's heart, or commitment, or courage, or sportsmanship.  It is a golden era in ATP tennis, and the best player of the last year had to sit this one out.  Look well on this time - I do not think we will see its like again.

Roger Federer and Serena Williams enjoyed straight sets victories today.  Also through are Azarenka, Dementieva, Agnieszka Radwanska and Venus Williams in the WTA, and Tommy Haas in the ATP.  Commiserations to fans of Ana Ivanovic, who was forced to retire in her R16 match against Venus Williams.
